Review:
I know this album has been released months ago, but it took me a while to buy all the tracks of it. It now seems like that I have them all and I played most of them in my radio show.
Maybe this review is not going to be written in e neutral perspective since I have been a big Dinka fan from the very beginning.
Which track do I like the most? I think it’s “Ghosts in a Suit”, but it might also be “Elements”. Hard to say. But these two are definitely the two harder ones, which one would play in a part of a DJ set, which should rock the crowd. But they still got the Dinka flair.
More chillier are the tracks “Hotel Summerville” and “Smile When You’re Hurt the Most”, the second being a vocal track. These two I could not instantly allocate to Dinka if heard in an unknown context, but the Dinka sound are present of course, just the Dinka groove isn’t.
Green Leaf… I’ve heard this tracks before without a vocal and I have to say I liked it better without. It’s really got that Dinka bass which makes one want to party but with the vocal, which is actually beautiful, this feeling gets lost. It’s a completely different track that way, of which i might still get used to when you give some time.
The fourth piece on the album is a masterpiece called “Some Poeple Will Never Learn”. This is the Dinka stuff we are used to. Bassy, groovy, melodic, beautiful.
I will stop here talking about the tracks. The album is all in all very Dinkaish, which I guess can get boring to some poeple, but definitely not to me. Every track has it’s own specialty. This album is a very solid and artistic achievement by our Swiss artist, and it can be recommended for any situation, party, chill out, work,…

Review:

Review:
Who would have thought that the tough Sweden based producer Marcus Schössow would ever go Anjunadeep. Anjunadeep can be used as an adjective because this label has really got it out to define music. Well… it defines an entire style of music. And we have to say that Marcus Schössow’s 1985 line fits perfectly into this style. 1985 is actually his year of birth, which makes clear in what a short time he has become one of the major producers of electronic music.
The first track on the London EP, London, is the real Anjunadeep track, involving elements similar to Paul Keeley or Jaytech, like the bass. But this cool bell harmonizing with some really nice synths seems to be completey new. This track involves a melodic part with solid melodies as always in Anjuna releases.
The second track, 1985 (Oh my gosh he’s only 25!), is also a very amazing production, a bit less melodious, still very relaxing. Relaxing, but keeping a great groove, which makes you want to dance. This is also combining Anjunadeep likely element into one huge track. I would also recommend listening this track while driving a car on a sunny day. Makes you feel free!

Review:
German, munich-based DJ Tomcraft started his DJ-career in the early nineties and had a big success with one of his first singles called “Unicum”. He totally grew up with the Loveparade – Tomcraft is like a figure boy for the german rave parties. Nowadays he is the head of successful labels such as Great Stuff Recordings and Craft Music.
In 2003 he released a track called “Loneliness”. A big bomb which was played up and down all over the world. Tomcraft’s Loneliness was listed number 1 in the UK-charts and top 20 in severel european charts. 7 years after this breakthrough Armada Music released a compilation including 13 remixes of “Loneliness”. It’s a pleasure listening to this great tunes! Remixers are big names such as Myon&Shane 54, Lissat & Voltaxx, Adam K and Niels van Gogh. My favourite is the one from Myon&Shane 54, a straight progressive, chill-out trancy track. I also recommend the remixes from Armin Prayd, Roy RosenfeldD and Adam K & Soha.
